Meet the Advisors

An advisor is a person who provides guidance to students at the college level.  Advisors are advocates for students.  They also often function as a centralized source of information about the campus, campus resources, community resources, and support as well as providing insights into educational options and institutional policies and procedures.  Additionally, advisors can make referrals for services if necessary.

Although Advisors often have general knowledge about a lot of campus information, they are by no means the subject matter experts for all campus resources.  For that reason, advisors can help students identify and get connected to the correct person or department so students can get the information they need.
